# India: New Light Offers Little “M” Hope

Volunteer Journals: India

Village Bulletin · 2011

New Light is one of our four partner programs in India, alongside the Coorg Organization of Rural Development, Sri Mayapur Vikas Sangha, and Udyogini.

This journal entry celebrated new hope for a child known to the New Light community as little “M” — the kind of everyday turning point our volunteer journals from India exist to record.

Volunteers with our India programs work across care and feeding of children, education, and women’s issues. If those areas match your interests, the [Volunteer Abroad](https://village-volunteers.org/programs/) pages describe where help is needed.
